Paul Humphreys
Paul Humphreys - Green Woodwork instructor.
Paul Humphreys has been working over for almost 10 years for a conservation organisation supporting volunteers and community groups carrying our practical conservation work. He has been responsible for overseeing community-based management of areas of green open space. In addition to writing management plans for these areas responsibilities included: insuring proper practical management by volunteers; the delivery of regular practical training in - Green Woodwork, Woodland management, hedgelaying, tree planting, pond restoration, footpath and step construction, access wood and species id. He has significant experience of designing and developing nature trails and most recently an outdoor classroom space including benches and tables. In addition Paul has considerable experience of undertaking community based consultation activities and events, most recently in the development of a community orchard. Paul has attended an extensive variety of training courses to develop practical and people based skills in addition he has been trained in risk assessment and health and safety procedures as well as a full first aid certificate.
