Julie Starks

Julie Starks is a professional artist from Bath. She trained in Fine Art and her work has always combined these skills with her passion for the environment. Using wood, metal, willow branches and other reclaimed materials she produces sculpture, and creatively landscapes with living willow. Julies artwork draws strong influence from plant and insect structures - those 'small' worlds which surround us.. She works to commission, for exhibition and with community groups.

Julie has made many innovative structures and sculptures from living willow and other coppice materials. Based in Bath she has worked in many private and public gardens, schools, youth centres, and community farms through-out the South of England and the U.K. Work produced includes creature tunnels, storytelling circles, living willow animals and insects, wedding reception circle, decorative fencing and play houses.
